Long Course: 32 miles, $160

Short Course: 13 miles, $110

Equathon Long Course, 13 mile ride, 13 mile run: $120.00

Equathon Short Course, 7 mile ride, 7 mile run: $110

Mini-Fun Ride & Tie, 7 miles: $80.00

  • Wednesday June 27
    noon: Ride camp opens
  • Thursday June 28
    4:00 pm: Association Board Meeting, all current Ride and Tie members welcome
    6:00 pm: Potluck social for all in camp, Ride & Tie Association provides meat.
    Talks on “Endurance riding the barefoot horse “ by a Scoot Boot rep and Ride and tie strategies” Panel
    Music session, bring your instruments and make some happy noise after.
  • Friday, June 29
    1:00 pm: Registration and packet pick-up opens
    2:00 pm: Kiddie Ride and Tie around camp. Sponsored by Coolest Ride and Tie. Event is free, but participants must sign a waiver.
    3:00 pm: Vet check opens
    7:00 pm: Race briefing for all events
  • Saturday, June 30
    7:00 am: Championship course (32 mile) race start
    7:30 am: Short course Ride and Tie and Equathon Championship race start
    8:30 am:  7 mile Ride and Tie and short course Equathon race start
    4:00 pm: Raffle/Silent Auction/Dinner
    7:00 pm: Awards
  • Sunday, July 1
    6:30 am: 32, 20, 13 mile Run with the Ponies Trail Run start (More info on Run with the Ponies)
    7:00 am: 7 mile trail run start
    11:00 am: Ride camp closes

Directions to the Race Site:

7.5 miles east of Georgetown. Take Wentworth Springs Road east for 6-6.5 miles, turn left at Bottle Hill Road (look for race signs). Drive down Bottle Hill Road for 1 mile. Campground will be on your left.

Camp Information: 

The campground is ideal for equestrian use, with four water troughs, picnic tables, fire pits, 14 pipe corrals, 3 toilets, water and meeting area.$8 overnight/$3 day.The $20 annual day-
use passes available at the Georgetown Ranger Station Sites are limited to a maximum of 2 vehicles and 6 people. Click here for more information about Dru Barner.

Course Information: The long course is considered moderate to difficult.

Region Activities: Quaint Georgetown is just a 7.5 mile drive from ride camp and offers several restaurants and hotels, as well as a grocery store and gas station. Very cold swimming can be found in the Georgetown Divide Ditch, on the southern side of Wentworth Springs Road.
